Not only does he have Michelle's usual flair for costuming, but she has taken him in a Steampunk direction. You can really let your imagination go wild with this doll! Here's what you'll learn:
This Workshop is divided into 5 Lessons for the Intermediate doll maker, beginners with sewing experience can make him too.
Michelle provides clear, step by step instructions all supported by many drawings and clear, full colour photos along the way.
Michelle will answer all questions you have during the workshop and long after the workshop is over.
You can work at your own pace, even in your P.J's.
DESCRIPTION
Lesson 1: HEAD CONSTRUCTION
Complete step by step instructions on sewing and stuffing of the head and ears. Needle sculpting of the nose, eyes and mouth. Step by step details on how to draw, paint and shade the face and hands.
Lesson 2: ARMS, HANDS & BODY CONSTRUCTION
Complete instructions on sewing and stuffing hands, arms, and body.
Wiring and positioning fingers Assembling Time Keeper - Position and Sew head in place. Position and Sew arms and hands in place.
Lesson 3: MAKING the CLOCK
Transforming a plain wooden box into a ‘Steampunk' style clock- Attaching feet to clock Painting and decorating Installing clock mechanism and parts.
Lesson 4: DRESSING TIME KEEPER and MOUNTING ONTO CLOCK
Cut, sew and embellish jacket. Cut, sew and embellish vest and hat. Attaching hair, beard and moustache with felting needle or glue option.
Lesson 5: EMBELLISHING and COMPLETING
Further embellishments to jacket and hat with trims, braids, assorted ‘steampunk' themed treasures you've been saving. Attaching accessories in place. Add those very important Finishing Touches to make Time Keeper your own.
