Have you ever struggled on a project because you couldn't find “the perfect fabric?” If you are a fiber driven artist you know that finding just the right material for a project is essential to your creative success. Join Judy Skeel and learn to alter your own cloth to design and create original fabrics for your fiber art projects. Students will learn to create unique material for their own artwork designs and to adapt drab fabrics and trims for future cloth journals, quilts, art dolls and artistic imaginative projects.
This is a technique driven workshop full of in depth instructions with nearly 600 photos of step by step details for a plethora of methods using paint, dye, ink, stamps, paint sticks, fusible webbing, Angelina fibers, Tyvek and more.
